Diners, Drive-ins and Dives coming to Las Vegas!

 

The popular FOOD-TV NETWORK television show starring celebrity chef and UNLV graduate Guy Fieri is coming to Las Vegas. Not the show (they've already been here), but the Diner's, Drive-ins and Drives food complex.

Set to open late 2012, it will house eighty-one restaurants on nine floors. The exact location is not set but it will sit on the fabulous Las Vegas Strip.

Mandalay Bay, the Aria Hotel at City Center and a revamped Sahara Hotel (to be called Epi (short for epicurean), amoung others, are in the running for it's location. The restaurants (or the dives) are still being decided upon so send the Food Network your choices with your favorite picks.

ALL ABOARD THE WYNN BLIMP!

Starting next year visitors will be able to ride an aircraft between the Wynn and Encore towers in Las Vegas. The aircraft is in the form of a blimp. The vehicle will be tethered between the two enourmous structures on the Las Vegas Strip. The blimp will ascend to a height of 3000 feet giving patrons a fabulous view of the desert valley. BIG 80'S POP ARTISTS

COMING TO LAS VEGAS

An unnamed powerhouse in the music industry (let's just say they are known for MUSIC TELEVISION) is putting together various name acts from the 1980's to perform at Las Vegas hotels. The shows will feature three pop performers known for their contribution to the sound of the BIG 80'S. The engagements will last approximately four weeks and include such artists as Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard, George Michael, Dire Straits, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Talking Heads, Duran Duran, Motley Crue, Journey, REO Speedwagon, Huey Lewis and the News, Pat Benatar, Billy Idol, Eurythmics,The Cars, Heart, Pet Shop Boys, Cyndi Lauper, Depeche Mode, Chicago, The Bangles, Men at Work, Whitesnake, Sade ,Tears for Fears, B-52's, Joan Jett, Berlin, Poison, Styx, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Blondie and Simple Minds amoung others. The shows get underway in 2012.
